NATIONAL POST – Fund aimed at soldiers’ families

Retired General Rick Hillier joined Toronto business leaders high on the 54th floor of the TD Tower yesterday, to launch a fundraiser with similarly high goals.

The True Patriot Love Foundation aims to raise $1.75-million through its first charity dinner on Nov. 10 to support the Military Families Fund, which Mr. Hillier founded when he was Canada’s Chief of Defence Staff to support the families of Canadian Forces members.
