Calling all Canadian Artists

True Patriot Love is calling on Canadian artists to join the Artists for Families Program.

The cornerstone of the 2009 True Patriot Love Tribute Dinner Auction was the collection of 70 replica Canadian army helmets that were painted, sculpted and transformed by wonderful Canadian artists who gave generously of their time and talent to the Artists for Families Program. The helmets raised from several hundred dollars to an amazing $7,000.00 for helmet sculpted by Yolanda vanderGaast of Toronto’s MST Bronze Studios. We are eternally grateful to the artists who gave on behalf of the Canadian Military and their families. The breadth of talent and creative ideas caught us all by surprise.

We are once again seeking contributions to the Artists for Families Program.

TIMELINES

Event: Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 (Toronto)

Indication of interest: Submit Artist Intent Form

Helmets delivered to Toronto*: by Friday, October 1st, 2010

*Please note that for 2010, True Patriot Love will be arranging for pick-up of your submission and the cost of returning it to Toronto if requested.
