2010 Family Tree Unveiled

The True Patriot Love Foundation has unveiled its 2010 Family Tree that will serve as the centerpiece at the upcoming November 10th Tribute Dinner.

This year’s tree is inspired by wind swept pines made famous by Group of Seven artist, Tom Thompson with a base simulating granite rock from the Canadian Shield. The concept was conceived by Jerry McDonnell of K.I.M. Inc with artist interpretation and rendering by Tam Vo, Art Director at FUSE Marketing and sculpted by Yolanda vanderGaast of MST Bronze Limited.

Last year the brilliant adaptation of a Canadian maple tree raised over $30,000 for Canadian military families. Everyone who purchased a “Family Tree” is named on plaques that will be placed at trees being planted at Canadian Forces bases this Spring.

  1. Actually and factually Tom was never a member of The Group of Seven. The image you are stating is inspired by the group requires your fact checking. I think you may find Varley is a possible candidate.
