Michael Burns

Michael Burns is Executive Vice President, Corporate Development & Public Affairs for Accretive Advisor. He is the former President of Clearsight Inc. (a division of Wellington West Holdings), the leading affinity investment program in Canada which provided investment and retirement planning to alumni and professional groups across Canada.

Prior to joining Wellington West, Michael co-founded Clearsight Wealth Management, which was acquired in late 2006 by Wellington West. Before launching Clearsight, Michael co-founded eDrugstore.ca, one of Canada’s first online retail pharmacies.

In addition to his professional career, Michael is the co-founder and Vice-Chair of the True Patriot Love Foundation, which was established to support Canada’s military and their families. He is also Chairman of the Toronto East General Hospital Board Foundation and was recently chosen as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2010.
